Reduce stress with your child

For an adult, the MRI process can be filled with stress and anxiety. When a child needs an MRI, the levels of stress and anxiety are compounded. No parent wants to watch as his or her child is sedated or see them crying out with fear.

To make things relaxed and enjoyable, kids can tune into their favorite TV show or watch movies as the scan takes place while sitting with their parents (a 42” plasma screen is directly in front of them!) We have a wide selection of movies from which to choose, but parents are welcome to bring their own.
